Parent involvement is the key that opens the door for the children's success in school.
The Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition has believed this and for over 26 years has worked to assure that parents are provided with the tools that they need to help their children be successful in school.
We have developed a series of parent training modules and provide a statewide venue where parents come together and learn in a friendly non-threatening environment.
The CSPC staff together has over 150 years of experience working in the area of parent involvement. We offer training programs to parents and school personnel and community members who are interested in making a difference in closing the academic achievement gap, reduce the dropout rates and increase graduation rates. We pride ourselves with our ability to forge education partnerships between the school, home and community; some of our major accomplishments include the Manual High School Renewal Process, the passage of the City and County of Denver tax referendum Pre School Matters, and creating an awareness in the state of Colorado that effective parent involvement is crucial to the academic success of students.
